The headlines and layout etc are specific to each newspaper, the Fædrelandsvennen was the lead newspaper (it was their story) and the Stavanger Aftenblad also decided to run it – therefore the FVN is a ‘bigger’ story (picture front page and longer page count) – though the actual body content is exactly the same (including the info boxes) and they published the story on the same day.

edit: In terms of circulation the FVN is actually smaller:

  • Fædrelandsvennen: 24,000 (9th most popular)

  • Stavanger Aftenblad: 40,000 (5th most popular)
